Aneroids and Bellows

Aneroid and bellows sensing elements are designed to convert changes in pressure of the gaseous environment into mechanical movement and are used in aircraft and instrumentation systems.

AChE-99 type aneroid sensing elements and bellows assemblies, including 4766T.040.

The operating principle is based on elastic deformation of the sensing element under pressure, i.e. the aneroid capsule changing its shape or bellows element contracting or expanding along its axis. The resulting displacement is transferred to the mechanisms of the device and used for further conversion and indication.

The devices offer leak-proof design, highly consistent performance and sensitivity to minor pressure changes. The sensing elements don’t require any external power supply, are reliable and possess environmental stability which makes them a good choice for use in critical measuring and monitoring systems.
