Intended use:
MU-615А and MU-616 angle transducers are designed to measure angular positions of elements of various aircraft mechanisms and convert them into electrical signals for control and indication systems. They are used in flight control systems, drives and other mechanisms requiring position monitoring (such as flaps, rudders, elevators, doors and other movable elements).

Design features:
The operating principle is based on conversion of angular movement into electric signal using a potentiometer-type sensing element or a flux gate. When the input shaft rotates, an electric parameter (resistance or inductance) changes, producing the output signal proportional to the angle of rotation.
